5 Reasons Why Out The Dough is the Ultimate Party Treat — A Mom’s Perspective

When Angelo and I first started Out The Dough in our kitchen, we had one goal: to create something that brought the family together. As a mom, I’ve always believed that dessert should be a time of joy, not a time of worrying about labels or dietary restrictions.


Over the last few years, I’ve watched our "small passion project" grow into over 15 locations, but my mission hasn't changed. Whether you're grabbing a snack for your kids or planning a beautiful wedding, here are five reasons why I’m so proud of what we offer.

I’ve seen it a thousand times—a child at a party who can’t have the cake, or a friend who has to skip dessert because of an allergy. It broke my heart. That’s why everything we make is 100% plant-based with gluten-free friendly options. We worked until the recipes were perfect because I wanted a treat that didn't just "suffice," but actually tasted like the real thing. At our table, EVERYONE is invited.

Every mother has that instinct to say, "Don’t eat the raw dough!" because of the eggs and flour. (Trust me, I said it to Angelo 100s of times when I'd make cookies)

Well, I’ve officially retired that phrase. By using heat-treated flour and vegan ingredients, I’ve made sure our dough is 100% safe to eat raw. You get all the nostalgia of licking the spoon with absolutely none of the worry. It’s a treat you can feel good about giving your family.

I love a dessert that can wear many hats. Our dough (especially the Bitz!) is as versatile as it gets. If you want a quick scoop of cold dough, it’s ready. If you want a warm, freshly baked cookie, it’s ready for the oven. It’s even the perfect topping for a sundae bar. It’s the kind of pantry staple that makes you look like a hero in the kitchen.
